Under the community part of our Technology Status we are committed to providing support and access for our 6 partner Primary Schools to facilities here at KBS. One of the ways we are doing this is to provide access to the FLSC (Room C102) on four half days each week. Others ways include access to staff and materials for a Maths day and a Science day for two of the primary school both here at Kirk Balk and out at the primary school.
During their visits to Kirk Balk, John is on hand to offer both teaching and technical support if required by the visiting school. His primary task however is to ensure that the experience is a very positive one for everyone involved. Indeed these visits are now a part of Kirk Balks daily life and it is no-longer unusual to see small children moving around our big school on their way to or from computer lessons.
Its our school too!
