Here at Kirk Balk School we aim to provided the best educational opportunities both in our classrooms during the day and beyond school hours. We even take learning off campus too and are currently working with Birdwell, Elsecar and West Meadows schools to provide after school and lunch-time clubs. More plans to involve other schools are also being made and we are currently working with Greenfield Primary School to provide staff training to improve ICT skills.
Nor should we forget our electronic learning environment and the schools remote access to resources through the virtual learning and e-learning environment. Kirk Balk is now offering access to learning in a widening curriculum 24 hours a day across the learning age range from year foundation and primary pupils to adult returnees.
